Xiaomi has unveiled the new Mijia Electric Shaver Pro Set on its Youpin platform. The set will be sold for 699 yuan, or roughly $100.

Mijia Electric Shaver Pro Set: what is included

The package contains the shaver itself, a multifunction wireless charging dock, a sideburn trimmer, a nose-hair trimmer and a presentation box.

Wireless charging, sterilisation and drying

The wireless charging dock combines charging, sterilisation and air-drying functions. Placing the shaver on the base automatically activates its sterilisation mode.

The shaver uses an integrated foil with a dual-ring design and corrugated blades, covering a larger area than conventional foils. Its two stainless-steel rings move in intersecting reciprocating motions to catch and cut hair.

Motor performance and battery life

A high-speed motor delivers around 5 million cuts per minute. The intelligent chip takes roughly 100 real-time readings every second, automatically adjusting the speed according to beard density. The device has a 360° multidirectional floating head that follows the contours of the face. An integrated intelligent pressure sensor monitors the applied force to help prevent skin irritation.

The shaver also features a colour display showing the operating mode and charge level. It charges via USB-C and can run for up to 95 days without recharging.
