FEIMI brings winter fashion to São Bernardo do Campo

As cooler weather arrives and retailers prepare for Valentine’s Day, FEIMI (Feira da Moda Inverno) will stage a special São Bernardo do Campo edition from 12 to 21 June. Taking over the established Pavilhão Vera Cruz, the event has curated seasonal fashion, gift ideas and Brazilian winter trends. It will be open Monday to Friday, from 2 pm to 8 pm, and from noon to 8 pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Known for putting manufacturers in direct contact with end customers, the fair comes to the Greater São Paulo ABC region during one of fashion retail’s most important periods. Exhibitors specialising in knitwear, wool, leather, accessories and garments suited to both urban winter dressing and the season’s more classic looks will take part. A high footfall is expected from metropolitan-area shoppers seeking factory prices and items available for immediate purchase.

Operating daily in a retail-focused format, FEIMI strengthens a growing fixture in São Paulo’s events calendar by pairing seasonal fashion shopping with an in-person retail experience. At a time when online commerce continues to expand, the fair is betting on the ability to feel fabrics, try on garments and speak directly with the people who make them.

“The consumer wants to touch the fabric, try the fit, compare textures and leave with their purchase ready on the same day. Winter has a very strong emotional aspect, and FEIMI is able to translate this into a consumer experience,” says Sônia Sodré, the fair’s creator, who has followed the transformation of Brazil’s seasonal fashion sector for more than two decades.

The Valentine’s Day edition further strengthens the fair’s commercial appeal by bringing fashion and giftable items together in one setting. The selection includes oversized coats, knitwear sets, leather jackets, premium wool pieces, scarves, accessories and collections ranging from urban streetwear to the season’s classic elegance.

The fair also highlights its economic and social contribution, with part of its ticketing income donated to GRAACC, an institution supported by the event organiser.

Brazilian fashion makers at FEIMI

More than a commercial showcase, FEIMI serves as a meeting point for different parts of Brazilian fashion. Knitwear producers from traditional hubs in the Circuito das Águas and southern Minas Gerais-including Monte Sião, Jacutinga, Águas de Lindóia, Serra Negra, Ouro Fino and Campos do Jordão-will share the space with brands from Brazil’s southern region that specialise in leather and wool. Together, they create a product selection spanning handcrafted and contemporary styles.

“Beyond its diversity of styles and price ranges, FEIMI has become, over the years, a platform for the circulation of Brazil’s fashion production chain, bringing small and medium-sized manufacturers closer to end consumers across different parts of the state of São Paulo,” Sônia concludes.
