Garmin Forerunner 255: ideal for runners and athletes

The Garmin Forerunner 255 is a smartwatch well suited to sport. Its exceptional battery life is its main advantage over competing models: it can run for 14 days in standard mode and for 30 hours in GPS mode, useful when you need precise route tracking while running or hiking, for example.

Designed for active use, it includes no fewer than 30 separate activity profiles. These accurately assess your endurance, exertion tolerance and optimal recovery time between two training sessions. Like a genuine sports coach, it also provides programmes tailored to your performance and targets. With its 5 ATM rating, the Garmin Forerunner 255 can accompany you underwater to depths of 50 metres.

The model also includes a range of sensors for detailed health monitoring, including heart-rate measurement, blood oxygen level tracking, stress-level monitoring and sleep-quality analysis.

Everyday features and display

The smartwatch handles smart notifications by displaying messages and calls received on your smartphone, while Garmin Pay enables mobile payments. All information is clearly shown on its bright 1.3-inch MIP display. Although the screen is not touch-sensitive, its physical buttons positioned around the 46 mm case provide smooth, intuitive navigation.

In any case, this smartwatch is an excellent choice if you want a model that works equally well for sport and everyday life. The current AliExpress discount makes it especially affordable, although it is worth acting quickly as the offer may disappear soon.
