Cristiano Ronaldo’s fiancée attended the Met Gala in an unexpected ice-blue bridal look. Months before their announced wedding, Georgina Rodríguez also drew attention with a bespoke rosary carrying powerful family and spiritual symbolism.
After hours of anticipation, Georgina Rodríguez became one of the most talked-about guests at the Met Gala 2026. Cristiano Ronaldo’s 32-year-old fiancée took to the red carpet in an overtly bridal interpretation of her public image, as considerable curiosity surrounds her summer wedding to the Portuguese international footballer.
Before the main gala, Georgina had already attended two pre-parties, although in a more understated manner. On one of those occasions, she wore a black satin ensemble that gave little indication of the impact to come. By the time she arrived on the red carpet, however, the transformation was complete: a carefully conceived look rich in symbolism.
Georgina Rodríguez’s ice-blue bridal dress at the Met Gala
The influencer surprised onlookers in an ice-blue silk gown featuring a structured bodice embroidered with lace flowers and tiny bows, alongside a long, straight-cut skirt with a fluid drape. A sheer embroidered veil completed the outfit, strengthening its reinterpreted bridal-inspired aesthetic.
The look was designed by Ludovic de Saint Sernin, the French designer recognised for contemporary creations and a visual language that balances structure with sensuality.
The choice carried particular significance in the context of her personal life. Georgina and Cristiano Ronaldo announced their engagement in August 2025, following around nine years together. Their relationship began in Madrid, at a Gucci shop, an episode the couple have previously spoken about publicly.
Her jewellery included the eye-catching engagement ring, centred around a large diamond.
A rosary bearing the family’s names and powerful symbolism
Beyond the dress, a personalised rosary also stood out. The piece, imbued with emotional and spiritual meaning, completed the look.
Made from sparkling stones set in silver-coloured metal, the jewellery featured a central medallion engraved with the names of the family: Georgina, Cristiano, Cristiano Jr., Eva, Mateo, Alana Martina, Bella Esmeralda and Ángel.
On its reverse, a raised depiction of the Virgin was surrounded by small points of light. The piece continued into a white pearl and ended in a cross that was also embellished with stones.
Family, faith and the countdown to the wedding
In one of the images she shared, Georgina displayed the rosary alongside a print of Santiago de Compostela Cathedral and a Saint James the Apostle medal, further underlining the ensemble’s spiritual dimension.
On the Met Gala red carpet, amid the event’s fashion spectacle and artistic staging, Ronaldo’s partner turned her appearance into a personal narrative of family, faith and the countdown to one of the most significant moments of her life.
